The VCT Pacific Kickoff runs from January 18 to February 9, marking the official start of the season. This double-elimination tournament will see 12 teams battling over 12 days. Four teams from Champions 2024 enter the second round of the Upper Bracket, while two Ascension teams are strategically placed on opposite sides. The top two finishers from Kickoff will secure spots at Masters Bangkok, the first-ever global Valorant event in Southeast Asia.
Stage 1: Group Battles and Playoffs
Stage 1 divides teams into two groups of six, determined by their Kickoff performance. Each group competes in a Single Round Robin format, with the top four teams advancing to Playoffs. These Playoffs will determine three teams who qualify for Masters Toronto, setting the tone for the rest of the season.
Stage 2: Shuffled Groups and High Stakes
Following Masters Toronto, teams return for Stage 2, with reshuffled groups based on their Stage 1 standings. This ensures competitive balance and fairness. Another round of Single Round Robin competition leads to Playoffs, where teams vie for Champions 2025 qualification and the Pacific crown.
Returning to the Sangam Colosseum
The VCT Pacific Kickoff takes place at the iconic Sangam Colosseum in Seoul, known for its vibrant esports atmosphere. Tickets go on sale December 27, offering fans a chance to witness the action in person. Matches will also be broadcasted globally in multiple languages, ensuring accessibility for Valorant enthusiasts worldwide.
