Free Fire Esport– Morocco’s Warriors on Mask (WASK) team has once again proven their supremacy in the Free Fire Middle East and Africa (MEA) esports scene by clinching the championship title at the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) MEA 2024 Grand Finals. With this victory, WASK not only reaffirms Morocco’s dominance in the region but also earns a coveted spot to represent the MEA region at the FFWS 2024 Global Finals this November.
The Fierce Battle Of WASK and Aurés Team in The Grand Finals
Under the leadership of their captain, Mohamed Ali, better known as MR ALI, the WASK team emerged victorious by narrowly topping the final standings of the tournament held on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
In a competition filled with intense moments and fierce battles, WASK secured their win by just a single point, accumulating 93 points overall, edging out Aurés, who finished in second place with 92 points. This razor-thin margin underscores the intensity of the competition and WASK’s remarkable ability to maintain their position at the top, just above Aurés, who put up a formidable challenge throughout the event.

This victory marks WASK’s second major trophy in the Free Fire MEA esports circuit, following their triumph in the 2023 Free Fire MEA League (FFML) Season 7, now rebranded as the FFWS MEA series. As champions, WASK takes home the largest share of the US$50,000 prize pool. WASK as the champions will represent the MEA region at the FFWS 2024 Global Finals in Brazil this November.

The excitement of FFWS MEA 2024 didn’t end with WASK’s victory. The tournament also delivered a stunning comeback story from Morocco’s La Camorra Esports. Despite a tough Group Stage (18 July-3 August) where they barely made it through, finishing 10th with 238 points, La Camorra defied all odds in the Grand Finals. Battling fiercely on the Grand Finals day, they secured an impressive third-place finish with 77 points. Their unexpected rise from underdogs to podium finishers electrified the competition and captivated fans across the region.
