Open Qualifiers: The Gateway to London
The path to this prestigious event begins with online qualifiers, now open for participation. Gamers can test their skills in Tekken 8 and EA Sports FC 25, while qualifiers for Fortnite and Astro Bot will kick off on December 6 and December 13, 2024, respectively. Players must secure a win in these Open Qualifiers to advance to regional Closed Finals. Victors of the Closed Finals will earn a coveted spot at the London event, along with covered travel and lodging expenses.
A Dynamic Format with Star Team Captains
Once in London, competitors will be placed into one of four teams, each led by a Team Captain and supported by Specialists—community favorites renowned for their expertise in featured games. These figures will not only lead but also coach and energize their teams throughout the tournament. The competition will unfold over four rounds of intense gameplay and surprise mini-games, culminating in a final showdown between the top two teams to crown the first-ever PlayStation Tournaments: XP Champions.
