Launch of the third edition of the LGAMING AWARDS event: The biggest celebration of Gaming/Esport in Morocco in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication
After the success of its first and second editions, the LGAMING AWARDS event is back for its second edition to celebrate the best Esports teams, streamers and content creators in the world of Gaming/Esport in Morocco. The event will kick off on 20 April 2024 and close with an awards ceremony on 22 May 2024 at the Mohammed 5 Theatre in Rabat.
LGAMING AWARDS aims to support and promote the opportunities offered by the Moroccan market, while celebrating, inspiring and cultivating the spirit of innovation and creativity in the field of Gaming/Esport. The event aims to develop the gaming/esport scene in Morocco and integrate it into the international video games industry.
The competition will take place in four phases, starting with a registration phase for candidates on the lgamingawards.com website. This will be followed by a public voting phase, and then the selection by the jury panel made up of major national and international Gaming/Esport players, including game publishers. Finally, the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Rabat.
LGAMING AWARDS will be held in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication and the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games. The event has as partners Business Orange Morocco as telecom partner and HP as technology partner.

The competition will name 12 winners in 12 categories, divided into two groups:
Group 1: the 6 categories put to the public vote:
Best Male streamer, Best Female streamer, Best Esport team, Best Esport player, Best content creator and Best caster/ Host.
Group 2: the 6 categories nominated by the Jury Committee:
MOBA Games Esports Player, FPS Games Esports Player, Sport Games Esports Player, Fighting Games Esports Player, Mobile Games Esports Player, Mobile Games Esports Team.

A Community Award:
– Community’s Favourite Game: chosen by the community through voting
Three Awards chosen by lgaming.ma and the jury committee:
– Best inspiring impact
– Game of the year
– Favourite Game
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event will feature concerts during the awards ceremony with artists from the Moroccan urban scene.There will also be masterclasses, presentations and speeches, including one by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid. The event will also be broadcast on the digital media lgaming.ma.
The event is being organised by Maplab, a communications agency specialising in gaming since 2018 and owner of the lgaming.ma medium, the leading gaming and esport medium in Morocco, which has already produced several major events and has partnerships with several video game publishers.
LGAMING AWARDS, the first of its kind in Morocco and the MEA region, is an opportunity for Moroccan gamers and content creators to showcase their talent and develop their careers.
